Cheltenham Racecourse

In 2015 following the buildings of a wonderful new stand at Cheltenham racecourse the home of national hunt racing I worked with the course team to produce a series of 24 drawings for display in this impressive new stand. These will also be further editions of my work added here over the 2015/16 session.

About Me

I graduated from Goldsmiths Art College with a degree in painting, textiles and embroidery. Following a desire to travel and to explore other countries I lived in Spain for ten years. During this time I worked as a portrait artist on the Costa Brava, where I acquired a fine reputation for pastel and pencil sketches. Travelling also gave me the opportunity to study and embrace the many different cultures and surroundings which are apparent in my work today. As a working artist I constantly keep in touch with my role models, Beckmann, Caravaggio, El Greco, Van Gogh, John Skeaping, Jackson Pollock and Tracey Emin. Recently, I have relocated to the wonderful West Berkshire area.
